Every two years, in the heart of May, the alpine landscape of Völs am Schlern transcends being a mere sight for the eyes to become an experience for the soul. This year, the spotlight shines on the nuances of the oboe, the protagonist of a journey through Mozart, Britten, and Moscheles, including an unreleased transcription of the Tristan Prelude. Highlights of the calendar include:
The monumental Brahms String Sextets and Mozart String Quintets.

The strength of Schlern Music lies in the generational encounter between musical icons and rising stars. Under the artistic direction of Chiara Tonelli and Philipp von Steinaecker, the stage will host:
Quartet Legends: Veronika Hagen (Hagen Quartett) and Volker Jacobsen (founder of the Artemis Quartett).
Leading Orchestral Soloists: From the energy of Andrea Obiso (Concertmaster of Santa Cecilia) to the precision of Martin Zalodek (Vienna Philharmonic), and the lyricism of Olivier Doise (Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France).
Rising Talents: The fresh interpretations of Aylen Pritchin and Noga Shaham, alongside professionals like Nanni Malm, Paolo Bonomini (Camerata Salzburg), and Roberto Di Ronza.
