During Advent in Bolzano, the whole city comes alive with music, carols, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The market, the first in Italy, stretches from Piazza Walther to the Christmas Park, near the Cathedral, featuring many stands with local crafts.
The stalls also extend along Via Isarco to the Capuchin Park, creating a charming route full of tradition and magic.
The opening, on the Thursday before Advent, marks the beginning of the festivities with the lighting of the Christmas tree, decorations, and the nativity scene.
