For the city of Merano, spring is a very important and particularly heartfelt season. Coinciding with the spring equinox until June, the Merano Spring begins in the South Tyrolean town. A riot of colours and scents pervades the streets of Merano and its neighbouring villages of Scena, Lagundo and Naturno. Merano Flower Festival
Merano hosts the Merano Flower Festival, scheduled from 23 to 26 April. The flower festival involves Piazza Terme and the Terme public park with a market exhibition focusing on the world of gardens and ornamental plants.
